Council (Nafis), the Emirati Human Resources Development Council – Dubai, the

Higher Colleges of Technology, and Al-Futtaim Group.

The two-day event saw strong engagement from Emirati talent, attracting over

1,000 job seekers. The fair facilitated direct employment opportunities through

over 2000 job interviews, complemented by skill-development workshops and a

career guidance zone that recorded significant interaction from both male and

female participants.

Held under the umbrella of the ‘Ethraa’ initiative, the career fair is part of a wider

effort to support the UAE’s Emiratisation strategy in the financial, banking, and

insurance sectors. The initiative aims to create over 10,000 job opportunities for

Emiratis by 2027, empowering young people to actively shape the future of key

economic sectors and contribute to the nation’s long-term development

objectives.

Saif Humaid Al Dhaheri, Assistant Governor for Financial Operations and Support

Services at the Central Bank of the UAE and Vice Chairman of the Board of EIF,

highlighted the event’s strategic significance. Al Dhaheri said the Ethraa Career

Fair represents a milestone in building specialized Emirati human capital capable

of keeping pace with rapid transformations in the financial sector, especially amid

digitisation and innovation.
