UAE Delegation Highlights Commitment To Gulf Cooperation At GCC Housing

the 23rd GCC Housing Ministers meeting in Kuwait. Al Mazrouei highlighted the UAE's dedication to enhancing Gulf cooperation, especially in housing, a key element
for social stability and sustainable growth. He praised the progress made by GCC countries in this sector and reiterated the UAE's commitment to initiatives that
improve quality of life and urban development.

Al Mazrouei stated, "The leadership of the UAE places the housing sector at the highest priority, as it is one of the key strategic pillars for enhancing quality of life and
ensuring family and social stability. The country continues to develop innovative housing programmes and initiatives that meet citizens' needs in accordance with the
highest standards of quality and sustainability, in line with the 'We the UAE 2031' vision."

The UAE's housing strategies align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 11: "Sustainable Cities and Communities". This involves
providing safe, affordable housing supported by sustainable infrastructure. Al Mazrouei also noted that national projects incorporate green economy principles, smart
technologies, and energy efficiency to tackle climate challenges and ensure sustainability for future generations.

Eng. Mohamed Al Mansouri, Director-General of Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, led another UAE delegation at a prior meeting of senior GCC housing officials.
This gathering focused on technical cooperation and sharing experiences to develop housing policies for sustainable urban growth. Al Mansouri stressed the UAE's role
in fostering Gulf integration through partnerships that promote progress and sustainable city-building.
