Sharjah residents can now receive their driving licences and car documents at home through a new delivery service by Emirates Post in partnership with Sharjah Police.

DUBAI: Getting a driving

licence or vehicle registration document in Sharjah is now easier than ever.

A new collaboration between Sharjah Police General Command and Emirates Post Group (EMX) allows residents
to have these official documents delivered directly to their doorstep. The agreement was formalised during a

signing ceremony attended by Brigadier General Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Naour and Ali Mousa, Senior Director of
the Commercial Sector at EMX.

This service is part of a broader push to enhance convenience, reduce in-person visits to service centres, and align
with the UAE government’s commitment to smart governance. Emirates Post will manage the secure delivery of
driving licences and vehicle ownership papers within a specified timeframe and according to strict quality
benchmarks.

Service efficiency

Brigadier Al Naour said the partnership reflects a continued effort to provide smart, customer-focused public
services. By digitising procedures and enabling document delivery, authorities aim to streamline processes,
increase satisfaction, and improve access to essential services.
