Ministers, officials hail
signing of CEPA between
UAE, New Zealand

ABU DHABI, 14th J an uary, 2025 (WAM) -- Ministers an d
officials have praised the Com prehen sive Econom ic
Partn ership Agreem ent (CEPA) betw een the UAE an d New
Zealan d, describin g it as a strategic step to en han ce bilateral
econ om ic relation s an d stren gthen cooperation in key sectors,
in cludin g advan ced techn ology, clean en ergy, agriculture, an d
fin an cial services.
They em phasised that the agreem en t supports econ om ic
diversification goals an d attracts high-value investm ents,
rein forcin g the UAE's position as a global hub for trade an d
innovation.
Officials n oted that the agreem ent align s w ith the UAE
leadership's vision to en han ce econ om ic integration w ith
global m arkets, reflecting the n ation 's com m itm ent to
developing strategic partn erships that serve m utual in terests.
The CEPA provides an advan ced fram ew ork to facilitate trade
an d in vestm ent flow s, stim ulate grow th an d in n ovation
opportun ities, enhan ce n ation al econ om ic com petitiveness,
an d support the sustain able developm en t of both coun tries.
