               Dr. Than i bin  Ahm ed Al Zeyoudi, Min ister of State for Foreign
               Trade, highlighted the agreem en t's role in  providing UAE

               exporters w ith en han ced access to a sign ifican t m arket w hile

               open in g new  aven ues for in vestm en t in  priority sectors,
               in cludin g agriculture an d ren ew able en ergy.


               Al Zeyoudi added that n on -oil trade betw een  the tw o n ation s

               reached US$642 m illion  durin g the first n in e m onths of 2024,

               m arkin g an  8 percen t in crease com pared to the sam e period in
               2023. The agreem en t is expected to secure a critical supply
               chain  in  the Pacific region , con tributin g to the UAE's goal of

               reachin g AED4 trillion  in  non -oil foreign  trade by 2031.



               Ahm ed bin  Ali Al Sayegh, Min ister of State, stated that the
               CEPA em bodies the UAE's com m itm en t to strengthen in g
               partn erships globally, reflectin g its in tern ation al vision  an d

               dedication  to allian ces built on  m utual in terests.



               Khaled Moham ed Balam a, Govern or of the Central Ban k of the
               UAE (CBUAE), said the CEPA w ould open  n ew  horizon s for
               busin esses in  both coun tries to explore in vestm ent

               opportun ities in  various sectors, in cludin g fin an cial services,
               w hile en han cin g fin an cial and banking cooperation.



               Ahm ed Abdullah bin  Lahej, Director-Gen eral of Custom s an d
               Ports Security at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizen ship,

               Custom s an d Port Security, highlighted the CEPA as a pivotal
               step in  advan cin g the UAE's extern al trade n etw ork,

               sim plifyin g custom s procedures, an d im provin g trade
               efficien cy betw een  the tw o n ation s.



               Abdullah Al Basti, Secretary-General of Dubai Executive
