The meeting highlighted the potential for fostering cooperation between the Ministry
and the Bank in sectors of new economy including Fintech, artificial intelligence (AI),
and advanced technologies. During the meeting, H.E. Bin Touq was also briefed on the
Bank's expansion and investment plans in the UAE, particularly following its decision
to increase the number of personnel by 20 per cent in the UAE in December 2024.

In addition, the meeting highlighted the efforts to promote collaboration between
Investopia and Standard Chartered at both the national and global levels through the
fourth edition of Investopia, which is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi in February.
The event aims to create new opportunities and offer innovative financial services and
solutions to participants.

As a strategic partner of Investopia, Standard Chartered Bank has been offering support
and expertise needed to ensure the success of the event and its global dialogue sessions,
including Investopia Singapore held in October 2024.
