Inspired by the Zayed Charity Run

Adding to the event’s prestige, six elite Ethiopian runners, invited by Dr Vayalil, participated,
elevating the race’s status in the region. His inspiration stems from the Zayed Charity Run, a
globally recognised humanitarian running event honoring the UAE’s Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed
bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The Kannur Beach Run not only brought together global and local athletes but also underscored the
UAE’s commitment to fostering strong international community bonds.
