Body and Soul Health Club proudly celebrates the phenomenal success of Thumbay Sports
Festival, the largest school sports event in the Northern Emirates. Held from January 20 to January
27, 2025, at Body and Soul Health Club, the event, inspired by the vision of Dr Thumbay Moideen,
Founder and President of Thumbay Group, united 32 private schools in Ajman and drew over 15,000
attendees for an unforgettable sporting experience.

Dr Moideen announced ambitious plans to revolutionise sports and fitness education in the region,
with multiple fitness initiatives and sports programs set to launch over the next five years. His vision
is to elevate local sports and fitness to a national level.

Thumbay Sports Festival stood out as the first-of-its-kind event for schools in the Northern
Emirates. The festival's highlights included:

• A keynote address by Afraa Bin Hindi, Education Affairs Director

• Participation of 32 private schools and over 15,000 attendees

• Collaboration with Ajman Tourism, Ajman Private Education Affairs, FITZE, and APEX

“This event has truly showcased true sportsmanship and brought the community together,” says
Afraa Bin Hindi, Education Affairs Director.

Moideen Farhad C., Board Member of Thumbay Group, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming
support, stating, “We’re thrilled with the incredible engagement from Ajman Tourism, Ajman Private
Education Affairs, FITZE, and APEX.”

Looking ahead, Body and Soul Health Club, in partnership with APEX Sports Academy, is planning
similar events during Ramadan for private schools in Sharjah. The collaboration will also introduce
Healthy Lifestyle Systems for schools under the patronage of Ajman Tourism and Ajman Private
Education Affairs.
