9/18/25, 4:15 PM Ajman launches three-city India roadshow from Delhi
(ADTD), who will also hold roadshows in Pune and Kolkata.

Roadshow provided Indian travel trade stakeholders with an opportunity to learn more about the
                                     offerings of Ajman

The roadshow in Delhi provided Indian travel trade stakeholders with a
unique opportunity to learn more about the offerings of Ajman as a
travel destination for the Indian market.

“Over the years, India has remained one of Ajman’s top source markets,
with Indian arrivals playing a significant role in our tourism growth.
Moreover, Indian travellers visit Ajman to experience its warm
hospitality, peaceful beaches and rich cultural heritage, supported by
easy access from the UAE’s major entry points. These roadshows gave
us a chance to strengthen our relations with Indian travel partners, hear
their insights firsthand, and showcase how Ajman is evolving to meet
the needs of today’s travellers. We look forward to welcoming even
more Indian visitors, ensuring they experience the very best our Emirate
          has to offer,” says Alhashmi.

On the occasion, officials of Ajman Tourism presented a comprehensive
overview of the destination’s positioning, growth strategy and
deepening ties with the Indian travel market.

India is currently among the top five source markets for Ajman. In
2024, Ajman received around 68,000 Indian visitors out of a total of
          660,000 tourist arrivals, a year-on-year growth of 9 pc.

“Within India, though exact city-wise figures are not tracked, but
Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad appear to be key contributor
cities, both in terms of tourists and investors. Many Indian nationals
travelling to Ajman also arrive as part of the larger UAE visitation
trend, and are increasingly including Ajman in multi-emirate
          itineraries,” Alhashmi tells India Outbound.

According to Ajman Tourism, the emirate currently has a portfolio of 52
hotels offering about 4,300 keys. While it does not have its own airport,
the emirate is easily accessible, situated just 30 minutes from Dubai
International Airport, 15 minutes from Sharjah Airport, and within reach
of Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi airports, they add.

This strategic location has allowed Ajman to be served by four
international airports, offering seamless connectivity and giving it a
          competitive edge.

Ajman Tourism says that Ajman’s tourism appeal spans a broad range of
segments, with leisure tourism representing the largest share of visitors.

“The average length of stay for Indian travellers currently stands at 3.3
nights, which is closely aligned with the destination’s overall average of
3.5 to 3.6 nights,” Morsy tells India Outbound.
