In terms of international visitor composition, Russia remains Ajman’s
top source market. Other important inbound markets include Oman,
Saudi Arabia and Egypt, with the United Kingdom and Germany also
featuring in the top ten.
Speaking at the event, Morsy emphasised Ajman’s unique identity
within the United Arab Emirates. He added that Ajman focuses on
culture, authenticity, and immersive experiences. The emirate’s tagline,
Sincerely Emirati, reflects its commitment to preserving traditional
Emirati values and offering travellers a genuine cultural connection.
Ajman’s diverse tourism offerings are spread across three major zones,
namely Corniche, which features white beaches and seafront hotels, the
city centre, home to traditional souks and heritage districts and Al
Zorah, an upscale coastal development known for its eco-reserves and
luxury wellness resorts.
Officials in the delegation also note that visa facilitation for Indian
travellers is relatively straightforward. Many travellers are eligible for
e-visas, and those with previous UAE visas may qualify for visa-on-
arrival.
The authorities also extend logistical support for group travel and MICE
events, coordinating with immigration departments when required to
ensure smooth processing.
The delegation emphasised that Ajman is making continued efforts to
promote itself in India through trade partnerships, roadshows, digital
outreach and familiarisation trips.
In a detailed presentation, Morsy highlighted the emirate’s key
attractions, recent developments, and its growing appeal for Indian
travellers.
