The MoU with the National Center of Meteorology focuses on advancing early
warning systems, improving meteorological and climate risk analysis, and
facilitating technical knowledge exchange to ensure rapid and effective responses.
The MoU with Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University establishes an academic
collaboration to introduce a Resilience Diploma and specialized training programs
in crisis management, AI, and climate change, in addition to joint research
supporting policy development.
The Dubai Resilience Centre will continue expanding its partnerships with
government, academic, and private entities to reinforce Dubai’s position as a
global leader in building sustainable, resilient systems capable of navigating
future challenges and ensuring long-term stability.
The signing ceremony was attended by Omar Bushahab, Director-General of the
Dubai Land Department; Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Al Mandous, Director-General of
the National Center of Meteorology; Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of Hamdan
Bin Mohammed Smart University; and Ahmed Ateeq Bourguiba, CEO of the Dubai
Resilience Centre.
