The partnership with the National Center of Meteorology centres on enhancing early warning systems. It involves analysing
meteorological risks and exchanging technical expertise to enable quicker responses to climate-related challenges.
Meanwhile, the MoU with Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University focuses on launching a ‘Resilience Diploma’. This
initiative includes designing academic programmes in resilience, crisis management, artificial intelligence, and climate
change. Joint research initiatives will also support future policy-making efforts.
Broader Strategic Partnerships
The Dubai Resilience Centre plans to expand its strategic partnerships across government, academia, and private sectors.
This expansion aims to reinforce Dubai’s position as a leader in developing resilient systems capable of effectively
managing crises for a safer future.
The signing ceremony was attended by key figures including Omar Bushahab from DLD; Dr Abdullah Ahmed Al Mandous
from the National Center of Meteorology; Dr Mansoor Al Awar from HBMSU; and Ahmed Ateeq Bourguiba from the Dubai
Resilience Centre.
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor emphasised that Dubai's preparedness is rooted in long-term planning and investment in national
talent. He noted that resilience involves anticipating changes, adapting to global trends, and continuously improving
systems to protect development achievements.
