Federation have formalised a partnership to preserve and promote the UAE's maritime heritage globally. This collaboration

aims to enhance cultural projects, research, and training programs, aligning with the UAE's vision to protect its intangible

cultural heritage and establish itself as a global cultural hub.

The agreement was signed during the Sir Bu Nair Festival, coinciding with the third round of the Traditional Wooden
Powerboat Racing Championship. This event is a significant celebration of Emirati maritime heritage, attracting enthusiasts

from across the nation. Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister of Culture, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin

Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the UAE Marine Sports Federation, were present alongside other officials.
