The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has announced the pilot launch of
an initiative aiming to reduce the working hours of participating government entities during the

summer.

Pilot initiative

The pilot stage of the “Our Flexible Summer” initiative will involve the participation of 15

government entities whose working time will be reduced to seven hours, with work being suspended
on Fridays, according to the Abu Dhabi Media Office.
