The Syrian Postal Authority Signs Memorandums of Understanding with Its
Moroccan and Turkish Counterparts

The Syrian Postal Authority signed two memorandums of understanding on the sidelines of the 28th Universal Postal Congress held in the United Arab Emirates,
with its counterparts in the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Turkey, as part of its efforts to modernize its services and enhance its regional presence.
According to a statement issued by the authority, Director General Imad al-Din Hamad signed a memorandum of understanding with the Director General of the
Moroccan Post Group, Ahmed Amin Al-Touimi, aimed at "strengthening strategic relations between the two sides."
The memorandum with the Moroccan side stipulates "enhancing cooperation in various fields including the exchange of technical and professional expertise,
organizing joint training programs, in addition to cooperation in the fields of electronic remittances, express mail, e-commerce, and postal financial services."
It also includes "joint efforts to develop postal services and improve their quality, positively reflecting on postal users in the two brotherly countries, in addition to
enhancing coordination between the two authorities in relevant regional and international forums."
This cooperation comes in line with the authority's efforts to keep pace with digital transformations, as "the Syrian postal service seeks to modernize its services,"
while "the Moroccan postal service is distinguished by its pioneering experiences in introducing modern technologies, making the cooperation between the two
authorities an important step towards supporting Arab integration in the postal field."
