Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia met Japan’s State Minister of Internal Affairs and Communication,

Masashi Adachi, on Monday, with discussions centred on strengthening cooperation in postal and digital
services. The talks were held on the sidelines of the 28th Universal Postal Congress in Dubai.

Scindia is leading India’s delegation at the congress, where New Delhi is championing innovation, financial
inclusion and global cooperation in the postal sector. Both ministers discussed new avenues of partnership

between India Post and Japan Post, focusing on postal modernization and digital integration.
