H.E. Al Rumaithi:
Mother of the Nation’s endeavours improve quality of life for senior citizens and families.
FDF services implemented under the wise directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak enhance the
stability and well-being of senior citizens and residents.
H.E. Mariam Mohammed Al Rumaithi, Director General of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), highlighted
the significant role of relentless efforts by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General
Women’s Union (GWU), Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the
Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and ‘Mother of the Nation’, in enhancing the well-being of senior
citizens and families. She stated that Her Highness spearheads services to enhance their stability, in line with the
national policy to empower this demographic segment. Moreover, Her Excellency underscored FDF’s ambitious
vision to promote the active participation of senior citizens in society, upholding the wise directives of Her Highness
Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak.
Aligned with the issuance of the law amending the Family Development Foundation’s (FDF) mandate by His
Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Her Excellency stated: “Since its inception
