        partnership to train Emirati students in


        transport and technology sectors




        The Emirates Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) has extended its partnership with

        Keolis MHI to provide hands-on training for Emirati students, enhancing their employability in the

        transport and technology sectors. In 2024, 104 students, including 66 Emiratis, benefited from the

        program. For 2025, 100 apprenticeship opportunities are available, reinforcing the UAE’s commitment

        to workforce development. Leaders from EHRDC and Keolis MHI highlight the initiative’s role in
        equipping students with industry-relevant skills to drive the nation’s digital economy.

                                                                       Metro and Dubai Tram, to expand

                                                                       practical training opportunities for

                                                                       Emirati university and Higher

                                                                       Colleges of Technology (HCT)

                 students. This initiative is designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills,

                 enhancing their employability in the transport and technology sectors.




                 In 2024, 104 students, 66 of them Emiratis, benefited from Keolis MHI’s training

                 program, which covered disciplines such as electrical and mechanical engineering, IT,

                 mechatronics, and project management. The 2025 intake will offer 100 apprenticeships,
