Day 1 sessions covered diverse topics, including the transformative role of generative AI in
procurement, streamlining supply chain finance, building resilience to weather volatility, future
supply chain management, the impact of digital trade regulation, and data localisation in digital
trade. The role of free trade agreements in fostering growth in developing countries was also
discussed.
The second day will address themes such as financing sustainable trade, leveraging AI and robotics
to enhance delivery networks, upskilling supply chain professionals in the AI era, digital trade
strategies in Africa, and India’s economic growth’s impact on global trade. Other sessions will
explore innovative local solutions for global impact and how technology-driven innovation can
revitalise trade.
