Aiming to enhance transparency and streamline
access to economic data, the UAE’s Ministry of

Economy has launched the National Economic
Registry (NER). The initiative is set to serve as a

centralized platform, providing comprehensive
information on companies and economic activities
across the country, supporting businesses,

investors, and government entities in their decision-
making processes. The move underscores the

UAE’s commitment to fostering a more open and
transparent business environment, vital to attracting

foreign investments and promoting sustainable
growth.

The NER is designed to consolidate data from various economic departments and authorities,
enabling users to access up-to-date and accurate information about companies operating within the

UAE. This includes company registration details, ownership structures, legal statuses, and economic
licenses. By facilitating the quick and reliable retrieval of business information, the platform is
