        Alshamsi, as Senior Director of People Development and Performance, has played a
        crucial role in spearheading various initiatives that support and uplift Emirati women
        within the organisation. “At 7X, we prioritise supporting and empowering Emirati

        women through various initiatives,” Alshamsi stated, highlighting the company’s
        commitment to fostering an environment where women can thrive.


        One of the cornerstones of 7X’s approach to empowerment is its comprehensive

        leadership development programmes. These programs are designed to equip women
        with the skills and knowledge they need to advance into senior roles within the
        company. “These programmes include workshops and training sessions to enhance

        skills and prepare women for senior roles within the organisation,” Alshamsi explained.
        These initiatives ensure that women at 7X are prepared to take on leadership roles and

        positioned to drive the industry forward.


        In addition to formal training, 7X strongly emphasises mentorship and networking,
        recognising that these are key components of professional growth. “By connecting
        emerging female talents with experienced leaders, we create a supportive environment

        for women,” Alshamsi shared. Through these programmes, women at 7X have access to

        Looking ahead, Alshamsi envisions a future where Emirati women are key drivers of

        innovation and strategic growth in the logistics and supply chain industry. Alshamsi
        believes that for this vision to be realised, companies like 7X must continue to play an

        innovation.


        She highlights three key areas where companies can make a significant impact, “First,

        promote gender equality and innovation by implementing development programmes
        to equip women with advanced skills,” she suggested. By focusing on advanced skills
        development, companies can ensure that women are well-prepared to take on

        leadership roles and contribute to the industry’s growth.


        Creating an inclusive workplace culture that values diverse perspectives is also crucial in
        promoting gender equality. “Secondly, foster an inclusive workplace culture that values
