PCFC celebrates official launch of Dubai Logistics

Academy, recognises key partners

DUBAI, 4th December, 2024 (WAM) -- The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, along with
the Free Zone, hosted an event to celebrate the official opening of the Dubai Logistics Academy, an
innovative educational institution for Dubai Customs.

The event included an award ceremony to acknowledge key strategic partners, including logistics
companies and Dubai University.

The ceremony was attended by Sultan bin Sulayem, DP World Group Chairman & CEO and
Chairman of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, Nasser Al Neyadi, CEO of PCFC, Dr.
Abdulla Busenad, Director General of Dubai Customs, and Abdullah bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director
General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department.

Bin Sulayem emphasised that the logistics sector is a crucial driver of economic growth, requiring a
wealth of professional expertise to foster its expansion. He highlighted that the Dubai Logistics
Academy will play a key role in training professionals in the ports, logistics, and commercial
services industries, which will strengthen global trade and solidify Dubai’s essential role in
connecting economies around the world.
