        Employee Training and Development

In his address, H.E. Nasser Al Neyadi, CEO of PCFC, explained that the launch of the academy is in line with the
transformation of government work, especially as we move into the digital era and increasingly adopt artificial
intelligence in government services. This shift requires improving employee skills to meet the demands of evolving
global trade, investment, and logistics services.

        Dubai's Economic Vision

H.E. Dr. Abdulla Busenad, Director General of Dubai Customs, noted that the Dubai Logistics Academy will contribute

to nurturing and developing talent through an innovative academic and professional approach for both citizens and
residents. This initiative, launched by Dubai Customs as part of the '33 Path,' includes specialized curricula and
accredited scholarships, supporting the objectives of Dubai's Economic Agenda. Global data and trends in the global
economy underline the continuous growth of the logistics sector, requiring a forward-thinking vision and

groundbreaking initiatives to keep pace with this rapid development.

The academy's initiatives aim not only to stimulate investment but also to serve as a cornerstone for fostering a
knowledge-based national economy and solidifying Dubai's position as a leading global hub in this vital sector.

        Supporting Emiratisation

His Excellency Abdullah bin Zayed Al Falasi congratulated Dubai Customs on its initiatives, noting that the academy
will play a vital role in supporting Emiratisation by training, qualifying, and investing in local talent. He described the
launch of the Dubai Logistics Academy as a significant step in enhancing the professional and intellectual capabilities
of the logistics sector, further emphasizing that human development is a cornerstone of progress. The academy will

also help reinforce Dubai's reputation as a leading global trade hub.

        Recognising Partners

To conclude the event, logistics companies and Dubai University were honoured as strategic partners of Dubai
Customs for their valuable contributions to the creation of the Dubai Logistics Academy, a key foundation for
advancing professional skills in the growing economic sectors.
