of Industry and Advanced Technology sign MoU to

empower national talent and enhance industrial

competitiveness

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology
(MoIAT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop the skills of Emirati professionals and
strengthen the UAE’s industrial competitiveness.

The agreement is designed to support the Ministry’s workforce through innovative lifelong learning programs
powered by smart technology and flexible education models. It will also help improve investment attractiveness and
prepare national talent to play a leading role in shaping the future of the country’s industrial sector.

The MoU enables Ministry employees to enroll in HBMSU’s bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs, along with
specialized professional courses such as the Future Foresight Leadership Program, the Executive Program in
Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and the Women Leadership Development Program.
