Sharjah24: The Acting Director of the Strategy and Performance Development

Department at the Sharjah Police (SP), Lieutenant Colonel Dr Samih Al Halyan, recently
hosted a delegation from the Sharjah Airport Authority, headed by the Director of the
Strategic Planning and Performance Department at the Authority, Leila Ali Al Harmoudi.
A number of highly qualified employees from the Department of Strategy and
Performance Development were present at the meeting.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarise themselves with the best practices followed by Sharjah Police

in the field of organisational excellence.

The Sharjah Police Department shared its strategies for achieving organisational excellence with the
visiting team. Sharjah Police highlighted their major ISO requirements and the process for building quality

and governance systems. Asset and property standards, governance, and innovation management
frameworks are all covered by these requirements.
