                         Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi inaugurates Ajman
                 University’s new Center for Inclusive Learning for Students

                                                 of Determination


               Ajman, November 19,  2024:  H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of

               Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman
               University,  inaugurated  Ajman University’s  new Center  for Inclusive Learning  for Students of

               Determination, in line with its transition to a non-profit organisation. The center represents a step
               forward in Ajman University's commitment to excellence and inclusivity in higher education and is
               motivated by the pursuit of academic and professional excellence.


               H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi commented on the initiative, saying, “The Center
               for  Inclusive Learning for Students of Determination at Ajman University is a significant step

               forward in our efforts to create an inclusive society with no barriers to education. By supporting
               Ajman University in its mission to empower students of determination, we are advancing our

               broader  objectives  of  ensuring  seamless  access to  education  and promoting academic
               excellence.”


               The center promotes the integration of students of determination into the academic community
               by providing an environment in which  they  can develop  the skills and confidence to excel

               academically, socially, and professionally. Students of determination will benefit from a supportive
               setting  at the  facility,  with  state-of-the-art  facilities  designed  to  cater  to  the  diverse needs  of
               students, which also guarantees equal access to opportunities and resources.


               Proctored  exams  will  be  facilitated  to  ensure  a  fair  and encouraging  testing environment  for
               students  who  need  extended  time  or  specialised  equipment.  The  center  will  also  implement

               advanced tools and software for students with various disabilities, such as screen readers, Braille
