Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, highlighted that this documentation project is rooted in national pride. It aims to
showcase the legacy of the founding fathers to future generations. He noted that Sheikh Rashid played a crucial role in
Dubai’s modern transformation alongside Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE's Founding Father.
Bin Huwaireb stated that documenting Sheikh Rashid’s journey provides scholars and future generations with a reliable
resource on Emirati history. "The 'Documenting the Legacy of Sheikh Rashid' project marks a remarkable historical and
knowledge-based initiative in narrating the inspiring journey of a great leader who laid the foundation of Dubai as we know
it today," he said.
Sheikh Rashid believed that continuous efforts are essential for national development. His approach ensured Dubai's
progress through strategic decisions and laws that enhanced various sectors like banking, commerce, and education.
These initiatives significantly improved living standards for citizens and residents.
