At the global innovation stage of GITEX 2025, the spotlight shone on a powerful partnership shaping the UAE’s digital
future. The Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) and e& (formerly Etisalat Group) signed a
transformative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate Emiratisation in the fast-evolving
telecommunications and digital sectors. This collaboration is more than an agreement—it’s a national mission to cultivate
homegrown talent, enhance workforce readiness, and prepare Emiratis for leadership in one of the world’s most dynamic
industries.

The MoU aims to create a comprehensive framework that bridges education, innovation, and employment. Through this
alliance, EHRDC and e& will launch specialized training programs, career pathways, and professional
certifications designed to strengthen the capabilities of Emirati youth and professionals. From coding and cybersecurity to
data analytics and AI, participants will gain the technical and strategic expertise needed to thrive in the UAE’s knowledge-
driven economy.
