North America's rig count increased by 11 to 843, with the US adding one and Canada ten rigs week-on-week,

In a recent report released on January 19, Baker Hughes unveiled its latest rotary rig count,
indicating a notable increase in rig activity across North America.

The data showed a week-on-week uptick of 11 rigs, bringing the region’s total rig count to
843, comprising 620 rigs in the United States and 223 in Canada.

Breaking down the figures, the United States contributed 620 rigs to the total count,
consisting of 600 land rigs and 20 offshore rigs. Among these, 497 were classified as oil rigs,
