Dubai Mall to implement new paid parking fees starting July 1, 2024

Dubai Mall, in collaboration with Salik Company, announced the introduction of a paid parking system effective July 1. This new
system will be implemented in the Grand Parking, Cinema Parking, and Fashion Parking areas, while parking at Zabeel and
Fountain Views will remain free.

The initiative aims to enhance visitor experiences by improving parking availability. On weekdays, parking will be
complimentary for the first four hours, followed by variable rates based on the length of stay. During weekends, the first six hours
are free, with charges applying thereafter on an hourly basis.

Ahmed Almatrooshi from Emaar Properties emphasized the benefits, stating, “This initiative aligns with our commitment to
enhancing the guest experience by leveraging innovative technologies.” Salik’s CEO, Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, mentioned the
use of a barrier-free, ticketless system employing automatic number plate recognition and RFID technology for a smoother
parking process.
