Along with the participating ministers, Dr. Al Zeyoudi signed a Joint Communique reiterating the

commitment to comprehensive cooperation among member nations in several important areas of shared

interest. These include bolstering support for joint value chains, facilitating agricultural trade, encouraging

special economic zones as cooperation hubs, promoting e-commerce while upholding consumer rights,

and assisting MSMEs through technology and export cooperation.

The ministers reaffirmed how critical it is to incorporate digital technologies into international trade and to

advance clever solutions like electronic bills of lading and e-certification. The statement also emphasised

the importance of cooperation and investment in developing the potential of the special economic zones

of the BRICS members and strengthening the intra-BRICS global value chains (GVCs), both of which

would boost competitiveness in emerging markets like renewable energy.
