ledger technology that seamlessly connects banks, reduces fraud and human errors, and facilitates finance for
corporates and SMEs. Abu Dhabi Ports Group's advanced trade and logistic platform is a single window solution that

unifies trade and logistic services across the Emirates including sea, air, land, industrial, and free zone,” Al Zeyoudi

said.

The minister also spotlighted the Trade Tech Global Initiative, launched by the UAE Ministry of Economy in partnership

with the WEF in January 2023. This multifaceted initiative encompasses a diverse array of programmes aimed at

promoting the “global adoption of new tools capable of spurring a new era of trade growth.”

He explained that this endeavour includes several core components that offer a comprehensive framework to spur

innovation, adoption, and regulation in the trade tech ecosystem, including the Trade Tech report, Trade Tech sandbox

Trade Tech incubator, and Trade Tech Alliance.

The culmination of these efforts is the launch of the Trade Tech Forum, an event designed to galvanize industry

experts, leaders, and pioneers in addition to providing a platform for showcasing real-world examples of trade tech

deployment.
