6/18/25, 8:31 AM United Arab Emirates Launches Transformative Summer Hospitality Camp 2025 to Empower Youth and Build Future Tourism Leade…

The United Arab Emirates has officially unveiled the Summer Hospitality Camp 2025, a pioneering
initiative designed to equip young Emiratis and residents with hands-on experience and vital skills in
the growing tourism and hospitality sectors. Spearheaded by the UAE Ministry of Economy, the
program aims to cultivate local talent, inspire a passion for tourism-related careers, and build a
future-ready workforce aligned with the country’s long-term vision for economic diversification and
        national development.

A National Initiative with Wide Reach
Announced on Monday, this dynamic program is being rolled out in collaboration with 35 prominent
hotel and tourism partners from across the Emirates. It is open to high school and university students
aged between 15 and 22 years, offering them a rare opportunity to explore the world of hospitality
and tourism through immersive, real-world learning experiences.
Participants can hail from academic backgrounds directly related to hospitality and tourism, or even
those simply intrigued by fields such as culinary arts, hotel operations, guest services, event
planning, and food and beverage management. The Ministry of Economy has designed the camp to
welcome not only students pursuing hospitality degrees but also those with broader interests in
        tourism and service-oriented industries.
Hands-On Learning in Key Hospitality Disciplines

Set to run over a flexible period of two to four weeks, the Summer Hospitality Camp 2025 offers
structured training modules across a wide array of disciplines. These include hotel operations,
culinary arts, front office management, housekeeping, guest relations, and event management.
Through mentorship and engagement with industry professionals, students will gain firsthand
insights into the inner workings of luxury hotels, restaurants, and major tourism establishments.

Participants will be placed at select partner hotels and tourism facilities where they will receive
practical exposure and develop critical soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and customer
service—competencies highly valued in the hospitality sector.
Bridging the Gap Between Education and Employment

By emphasizing experiential learning, the initiative seeks to bridge the gap between academic
knowledge and industry requirements, giving students a strong foundation for future employment. At
the conclusion of the camp, each participant will receive an accredited certificate recognizing their
completion of the program. This credential not only acknowledges their participation but also
enhances their professional profile as they begin pursuing internships or full-time roles within the
        industry.
