Dubai Plans to Train 10,000 AI Workers by
2030

Dubai has announced a major partnership between the Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) and Dubai
AI Campus. This initiative aims to train over 10,000 individuals by 2030, preparing both public and private sector
employees for the growing impact of artificial intelligence. By focusing on local capability-building, the project
supports Dubai’s vision of becoming a global hub for innovation and technology, aligning with the Dubai Economic
Agenda (D33).
Key Programmes and Goals Under the Partnership
The collaboration will develop advanced training programmes, hands-on projects, and mentorship opportunities
targeting civil servants, executives, and private professionals. One important programme is “AI for Civil Service,”
which will provide government workers with generative AI skills to enhance public services.
Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director-General of DGHR, highlighted the importance of this effort: “Investing in
human capital is key to positioning Dubai among the world’s top knowledge economies. This collaboration with
Dubai AI Campus will equip our workforce to lead in digital transformation and ensure the emirate’s long-term
