Dubai has announced flexible summer working hours for government employees from 1 July to 12
September 2025, offering longer weekends and reduced heat stress. The UAE also enforces its
midday worker ban, with strict fines for violations, and has set up 10,000 air-conditioned rest
stations to protect outdoor workers.

protecting outdoor labourers from flexible work hours in Dubai. Starting 1 July 2025, government
employees in Dubai will benefit from flexible working hours. The initiative will run until 12
September, giving departments the freedom to set schedules that suit their operations. So, if you
