Abdulaziz Al Musallam announced that the 21st session
of Sharjah Heritage Days will commence on February 22,

Thursday, with a focus on Emirati heritage.

In an interview with "Sharjah 24", Al Al Musallam announced that the upcoming
session of Sharjah Heritage Days will focus on Emirati heritage. This year's guest of
honour will be South Korea, which will showcase the heritage of Jeju Island through
its daily life and the traditional practice of women's diving.

This year's edition will feature a primary exhibition presented by the SIH. The
exhibition will showcase various Emirati intangible heritage elements that have
been registered on UNESCO's World Heritage List, a total of 15 elements, which is
the highest among other Arab countries.

During the 21st session of Sharjah Heritage Days, 12 countries are participating
through their cultural heritage organisations. However, the focus of the current
session will be on Emirati heritage, which is reminiscent of the first session held 22
years ago.
