Moscow, The Gulf Observer: Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and
Chairman of the Emirates Tourism Council, spearheaded the UAE delegation at the
BRICS Tourism Ministers’ Meeting, held in Moscow under the Russian Federation’s 2024
BRICS Chairmanship. The meeting was conducted under the theme “Strengthening
Multilateralism for Just Global Development and Security.”
The gathering aimed to enhance joint cooperation among BRICS member states,
focusing on sustainable tourism development and exploring various tourism
opportunities. Minister Al Marri underscored the UAE’s dedication, guided by its wise
leadership, to bolstering tourism partnerships with BRICS nations.
