8/5/25, 9:59 AM Al Ain Centre Boosts Abu Dhabi Emergency Readiness
Whether it’s heavy rains, a road accident, or any other crisis, this centre will make sure
that the right teams are sent to the right place at the right time.
Always Ready, Day and Night
Another great thing about this new centre is that it will be working 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week. That means even in the middle of the night, there will be people on duty,
watching, monitoring, and ready to take action.
This round-the-clock readiness is essential because emergencies can happen at any time—
during holidays, late nights, or early mornings. The people in Al Ain will now have better
safety because trained professionals will be on standby every minute of the day.
Part of a Bigger Strategy
The opening of the Al Ain Coordination and Monitoring Centre is only one part of a
larger plan by ADCMC. They are building a full system that covers the entire emirate of
Abu Dhabi, including Abu Dhabi City, Al Ain, and the Al Dhafra region.
The aim is to make sure that no matter where an emergency happens, the response is fast,
organized, and effective. This includes having the right technology, trained staff, good
communication systems, and coordination among all partners.
It’s also about making Abu Dhabi a model city for emergency management not just in the
UAE, but in the entire region.
What ADCMC Does
The Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre is in charge of:
Creating plans and policies for emergency situations
Working with local authorities and partners to put those plans into action
Training teams for quick response
Setting up systems and centres like the one in Al Ain
Monitoring risks and preparing for any kind of crisis
ADCMC’s job is to look at the big picture and make sure that everyone knows what to do
in an emergency—from the leaders to the people on the ground.
The launch of the new Coordination and Monitoring Centre in Al Ain is a big step
forward for Abu Dhabi. It shows that the emirate is not waiting for a crisis to happen.
Instead, it is getting ready now, planning ahead, and building a system that can protect its
people no matter what challenges may come.
