A pivotal component of the visit is the launch of Investopia London, the second
edition of Investopia Global Talks in Europe. The event will begin on January 31,
2024, under the theme ‘UAE-British Financial Services: Partnership for the Future’. It
aims to serve as a platform for exploring promising investment opportunities in the

fintech sector.

Investopia London will feature four sessions delving into investment opportunities
and sharing the latest experiences in the fintech sector. Moreover, it will encourage

the international business community to explore and expand into this vital sector.
Furthermore, Investopia London will focus on the fintech sector and global trends in
investment, particularly in fast-growing sectors such as clean energy and the green
economy. The event will draw over 300 attendees, including leaders, entrepreneurs,

investors, and economists from around the world.

Bilateral meetings

During the visit, Bin Touq will hold several bilateral meetings with British
government officials and ministers. This includes H.E. Greg Hands, Secretary of State

for Trade Policy at the U.K. Department of Business and Trade. Moreover, Bin Touq
will meet with H.E. Bim Afolami, Economic Secretary to the Treasury.

The meetings will explore promising investment opportunities and maximize benefits
available for the UAE and British private sectors to serve the development of both

economies. Moreover, the visit will witness the signing of several agreements
between the two countries in the technology and financial services sectors.
