H.E. Bin Touq Leads UAE Economic Delegation

to Strengthen Ties with the UK

A UAE economic delegation, led by H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of

Economy and Chairman of Investopia, is scheduled to arrive in Britain next

week. The primary objective is to explore fresh opportunities for economic
cooperation and establish new partnerships at both government and private

sector levels. The discussions will specifically target sectors like fintech,

innovation, the new economy, and circular economy, with the goal of

bolstering the competitiveness and sustainability of the economies of both

nations.

The visit is part of the growing economic ties between the UAE and the UK,

marked by significant growth across various cooperation areas due to the

guidance and vision of both leaderships. Investopia London, in line with this,
aims to create fresh investment opportunities, aligning with the shared vision

of expanding the fintech sector as a key pillar of the future economy.

Scheduled for January 31, 2024, the visit will see the launch of the second

edition of Investopia Global Talks in Europe – Investopia London. The theme,

"UAE-British Financial Services: Partnership for the Future," will be explored
through four sessions. These sessions will delve into promising investment

opportunities, sharing recent experiences and practices in the fintech sector.

The event seeks to encourage the international business community to

explore and expand into this vital sector. Additionally, it will facilitate dialogue

on global investment trends in fast-growing sectors, notably clean energy and
