U.S. energy technology player Baker Hughes has joined forces with BP,
a UK-headquartered energy giant, to bring a new application for the
upstream oil and gas sector to life as part of its emissions abatement
technology offering. As a result, the oil major can quantify and curb
methane slip emissions from its flaring operations.
