4/23/24, 2:54 PM               “Al-Eqtisad” organizes a Ramadan session to motivate female entrepreneurs – The Observatorial
               exchanging the latest experiences and practices in the entrepreneurship

               sector.



               The session was opened by Badriya Al Maidour, Assistant Undersecretary
               for the Support Services Sector at the Ministry of Economy, which included a


               panel discussion in which Nour Al Tamimi, a member of the Board of
               Directors of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, Al Dhabi Al Muhairi, the

               youngest Emirati entrepreneur, and Dr. Amal Larled, a private pilot, author

               and partner in… PwC, and Julia Stark, Head of EWA Accelerator.



               Badriya Al-Maidour said in a speech during the session: “Over the past five

               decades of the UAE’s life, Emirati women were able to chart a distinguished

               path of leadership and creativity. They were the best partners in the

               country’s economic development process, and they succeeded in proving

               their role as a major contributor to building the future, until they became

               world.”



               She added: “The Ministry of Economy is constantly keen to launch specific

               initiatives and programs to empower women entrepreneurs and owners of

               small and medium enterprises in various sectors and activities, especially

               new economic sectors, and provide opportunities and capabilities to develop

               their business projects and provide them with the necessary expertise.”

               Pointing out that the Ramadan session contributed to creating a space for

               discussion and consultation about the future of women’s entrepreneurship,

               and opened the way for female entrepreneurs to excel, innovate and be

               creative in their pioneering projects. The session also strengthened support

               for communication between female entrepreneurs and businesswomen in

               the country.


               In addition, the session witnessed a review of a set of mechanisms that

               would provide financing opportunities for women entrepreneurs’ startups,
