His Excellency Abdulla bin Touq Al Mari, UAE Minister of Economy, emphasized the
critical role of think tanks and scientific research in driving economic progress. He
stressed the importance of public-private collaboration to achieve UAE Vision 2030 goals.

During the meeting, His Excellency welcomed a delegation from TRENDS Research and
Advisory to the Ministry’s headquarters. Led by Dr. Mohammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of
TRENDS, the delegation included sector heads and department directors.

The discussion focused on fostering collaboration between the Ministry of Economy and
TRENDS, particularly in economic studies and research, with an emphasis on future
sectors like the digital economy and artificial intelligence.
