P. 27
For those who cannot fast, the Council said that they must feed a poor person with an
amount of 3.250 kilogrammes of wheat for each day, and it is permissible to pay it in
cash at an amount of Dhs15 for each day.
It also pointed out that whoever breaks the fast intentionally without an excuse during
Ramadan must feed 60 poor people (3.250 kilogrammes of wheat for each person), or
the value of that in cash Dhs15, for each poor person, to be totally Dhs900 for all, in
case of breaking one day’s fast.
