rst meeting since its restructuring, led by Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy. The session focused on

advancing the UAE Circular Economy Policy 2021-2031, aiming to boost sustainability and resource e ciency. Discussions
centred on unifying national efforts to transition towards a sustainable circular economy model.

A key topic was the 'Aluminium Recycling Coalition', which seeks to transform aluminium recycling in the UAE. The council

stressed completing the initial set of policies and progressing to the next phase. Bin Touq highlighted that under wise

leadership, the UAE prioritises developing a circular economy ecosystem through national policies and strategies aligned
with the "We the UAE 2031" vision.
