Bin Touq stated, "Today’s meeting represents an important milestone in accelerating the country’s transition to a new
economic model based on knowledge and innovation, with the circular economy being one of its main pillars." He
emphasised integrating innovation and digital transformation into initiatives and enhancing dialogue with government
entities and the private sector for implementing the National Circular Economy Agenda.
The council reviewed signi cant achievements in adopting a circular economy model, including incorporating it into
Investopia Summit's agenda. This summit has been pivotal in showcasing global investment opportunities and fostering
sustainable partnerships in manufacturing, green infrastructure, and transportation sectors. Over 2022-2023, four meetings
were held to support these goals.
Following the meeting, Bin Touq inaugurated the ‘Landmark CircuLife’ textile recycling facility. This initiative by Landmark
Group is a pioneering project in the UAE and regionally. It underscores the UAE's commitment to green growth through
