CHAPTER 3: INCLUSIVE WORKPLACE/CULTURE DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND
INCLUSION (DEI)
Post University’s commitment to associates, students, parents, alumni, and business associates is to provide an inclusive environment where everyone is respected, valued, and feels safe to contribute, learn, speak up, and grow. At Post, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is personal and a reflection of who we are at work and in the neighborhoods and communities we serve.
The University’s way of life for associates and students
is an affirmation of the richness of human differences, ideas, and beliefs. DEI at Post encompasses a broad range of human differences which includes age, gender, race, ethnicity, physical and mental ability, sexual orientation as well as the invisible differences such as religion, nationality, socioeconomic status, belief-systems, thought-styles, military experience, and education. In brief, the University values and supports DEI in pursuit of being a national leader by setting the standard for employers and striving to celebrate diversity in all that we do.
The collective sum of the individual differences, life experiences, knowledge, inventiveness, innovation, self-expression, unique capabilities, and talent that our associates invest in their work represents a significant part of not only our culture but our reputation and the University’s track record of success.
Post’s DEI initiatives apply to all phases of employment to include new hire recruitment and selection; compensation and benefits; professional development and training; promotions; transfers; social and recreational programs; layoffs; terminations; and the ongoing development of
a work environment built on the promise of gender and diversity equity. This means life at Post routinely involves:
• Respectful communication and cooperation between all associates.
• Associate teamwork and engagement to encourage the representation of all groups and individual perspectives.
• Work/life balance through flexible work schedules to accommodate associates’ varying lifestyles.
• Community involvement by associates to promote greater understanding, acceptance, and respect for diversity.
All associates are expected to always treat others with dignity and respect as an associate or representative of Post. In recognition of the importance of this policy, the University provides related training (voluntary and mandatory), celebrations, educational events, special resources, etc.
Post has zero tolerance for social injustice regardless of its basis. In other words, there is no place within Post University for acts, whether overt, subtle, or unconscious that marginalize any member of the Post University family.
Your Voice Matters
Post’s DEI transformation is a collective journey and not a destination. We are focused and dedicated to this noble cause that requires the involvement of every associate. Your related feedback and suggestions are encouraged and always welcomed. Please take advantage of
various options to speak out with your leadership team, Associate Experience, the Regulatory Compliance team, or any member of Post’s trained Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advocacy Council.
Any associate found to have exhibited any conduct or behavior in violation of the language or intent of this policy may be subject to disciplinary action. In addition, associates who believe that they have been subjected
to any kind of treatment that conflicts with Post’s DEI Policy should contact Associate Experience with the reassurance of no reprisal or retaliation for bringing such concerns forward.
NOTE: To keep you informed about current DEI updates and news at Post, associates should access the Nest 24-hours/day.
