UNIVERSITY PROPERTY
Equipping associates or students to be their best is
an important priority at Post. The University makes a significant investment in its facilities and equipment to provide state of the art computer equipment, technology systems, classroom set ups, learning tools, student residence accommodations, and other property that distinguishes Post as a world class educational institution. University property is to be used solely for business related purposes. The authorized removal or personal use of University property is prohibited. When using University owned property to accomplish job duties, associates are expected to exercise care and follow all operating instructions, safety standards, and related guidelines.
Associates should notify their supervisor immediately if any equipment or other property appears to be damaged, defective, or in need of repair. This could prevent deterioration of equipment and possible injury. The improper, careless, negligent, destructive, or unsafe use of University property is unacceptable behavior. In addition, as previously mentioned, associates may not use the University’s intellectual property, logos, trademarks, and copyrights in any way that is unlawful or that would infringe upon Post’s intellectual property rights.
On an associate’s last day of employment or sooner,
if requested, the associate must return to Associate Experience all University property, including, without limitation, computer equipment, cell phones, ID badges, parking garage passes, keys, manuals, files (manual
or electronic) and other confidential or proprietary information (without retaining copies). Where permitted by law, failure to timely return University property will result in the deduction of the value of the property from the associate’s final paycheck. You may be required to sign a deduction authorization when University property is issued. Please refer
to the Resignation and Rehire Policy in this Handbook for additional related details.
