 CHAPTER 9: EXIT TRANSITIONING
within thirty (30) days of any qualifying event that would result in COBRA eligibility for a spouse or dependent child.
Under COBRA, the associate or qualified beneficiary pays the cost of coverage plus an administration fee. Each qualified beneficiary will be provided with a written notice from Post’s third-party COBRA administrator. The notice will be sent to the last address of record and will contain important information about coverage, cost, payment expectations and other associate obligations. Those eligible associates who elect COBRA may utilize this benefit for the duration of their COBRA enrollment period subject to compliance with applicable terms
and conditions. Prior to separation from employment, associates who have elected not to participate in the group medical plan, dental plan or vision plan at Post are not entitled to COBRA continuation.
All separating associates may also take advantage of Post’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for up to ninety (90) days after separation to receive career
related counseling or other personal wellness support. This benefit provides up to six (6) free professional and confidential counseling sessions for associates and/or their immediate family members.
EXIT INTERVIEWS
The Exit Interview is an important process for
soliciting feedback as to how to create continually improving, exceptional levels of pride and happiness
by Post University associates and students. In general, associates who resign will be interviewed by an Associate Experience team member by phone, virtually or in person. This is a good opportunity for associates to reflect on their career experiences with Post University and to offer constructive suggestions on how to make Post’s legacy even greater as a world class organization of happy and proud associates, serving countless happy and proud students.
