Our Mission Statement: At Post University, we believe that personalized guidance, unwavering motivation, robust support, and a student-centered education
are the catalysts that allow students to achieve their individual academic and career goals. We shape workforce ready, socially responsible leaders through learning experiences, offered in and out of the classroom, designed to promote the exchange of knowledge, expand thinking, and refine practical and professional skills. We strive to provide hands-on support with each student throughout their academic journey and beyond. This is what we mean when we say: Post Makes It Personal!
Post University has been providing quality educational programs since its founding in 1890. The 58-acre campus is located in Waterbury, Connecticut, and consists of 273,400 square foot of facilities including fourteen buildings, four of which house nineteen instructional classrooms. The campus and surrounding community offer a scenic, friendly, and innovative learning environment for students. The central location of the campus provides easy access to many of the major cultural centers in the northeast. The campus is located 90 minutes from New York City and two hours from Boston. Amtrak and Bradley International Airport are located in close proximity to the campus and provide quick and convenient transportation options.
In 2018, Post University leased and renovated the 53,000-square-foot historic Howland Hughes building in downtown Waterbury. This facility, with space for anticipated future growth, and known as Post’s state- of-the-art online education hub, is currently home for associates who work either on site or remotely in various role such as enrollment, academic advising and financial aid providing a range of personalized support services for our students. The building is a unique mix of the latest technology that blends contemporary functionality while preserving the heritage of an iconic building.
Recognized for its Honors Program, NCAA Division II athletics, and its pioneering role in online education for more than twenty years, Post University is licensed by the Connecticut Office of Higher Education
and accredited by the New England Commission
of Higher Education (NECHE). Selected programs within the Malcolm Baldridge School of Business are programmatically accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Post has been ranked among the best by U.S. News and World Report. Specific details related to the licensure, accrediting and related topics are covered in the Post University Catalog for students.
In keeping with Post University’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Post targets and attracts students from all races, cultures, geographic and socio- economic backgrounds, representing over 40 countries. Post is home to an ever-growing number of on campus and online students.
Students can choose to attend classes on the Main Campus or online via the Accelerated Degree Program. Students who attend the Main Campus in Waterbury have the choice of living in one of six residence
halls. Students are encouraged to participate in the many social and community activities available at
the Waterbury campus. Specialized facilities include two science laboratories, two art classrooms, one photography classroom, a computer laboratory, a computer classroom, the Center for Academic Success, the Center for Career and Professional Development,
the Traurig Library and Resources Learning Center, the Drubner Athletic and Fitness Center, and the Leever Student Center. As a top priority, special support services are provided related to security, counseling, health services, and overall wellbeing for both associates and students.

Every enhancement and expansion to our learning systems and resources has been driven by students’ personalized needs — with the goal of creating an amazing learning experience and successful outcomes for every student, no matter their background.
